Three-pass Rotary Drum Dryer

The three-drum dryer equipment can dry raw materials such as dry quartz sand, mortar mix, yellow sand, cement plant slag, clay, coal gangue, mixed materials, fly ash, gypsum, iron powder, etc., and is widely used in building materials, chemical, casting and other industries.
Working Principle
The material enters the inner layer of the rotary drum of the three-drum dryer through the feeding device to achieve co-current drying. The material is continuously lifted and scattered by the lifting plates in the inner layer in a spiral advancing manner to achieve heat exchange. The material moves to the other end of the inner layer and enters the middle layer for counter-current drying. The material is repeatedly lifted in the middle layer in a manner of two steps forward and one step back. In the middle layer, the material not only fully absorbs the heat emitted by the inner drum, but also absorbs the heat of the middle drum, while extending the drying time, so that the material reaches the optimal drying state here.
Equipment Structure Features
The three-drum dryer is made by changing the single drum of a single-drum dryer into three drums nested together, so as to shorten the overall dimensions of the dryer body. During operation, the material and hot air flow enter the inner to outer drums in sequence, and after a Z-shaped reciprocating flow within the body, the heat energy is fully utilized to dry the material before it is discharged.
The drum part of the dryer consists of three coaxially and horizontally arranged inner, middle and outer drums nested together, which makes full use of the cross-section of the drum. The total length of the drum body is about 30-35% of that of an equivalent single drum. This greatly reduces the floor area and factory building area.
The supporting device of this machine is supported by the riding ring and supporting rollers on the outer drum, and the supporting rollers are directly driven by the motor. Through the friction between the supporting rollers and the riding ring, the drum rotates. The overall structure of the machine is compact, reasonable and simple. To facilitate the inspection and replacement of wearing parts, the middle part is designed as an axially split type and fixed and connected with bolts.
