Plate Sand Production Line
The plate sand production line is a complete quartz sand purification production line specially customized for the artificial quartz stone plate industry, focusing on controlling iron impurity content and particle size distribution, producing quartz aggregate with a reasonable particle size mix that meets the process requirements for artificial plate batching.
Applicable raw materials: medium-grade quartzite and vein quartz ore; some washed silica sand can also be used as feed material.
Process flow: raw ore crushing → wet rod mill sand making → CX scrubbing machine for strong scrubbing and desliming to remove surface clay impurities → SF hydraulic classifier and SZ hindered settling machine for multi-stage particle size classification → multi-stage wet magnetic separation (CTB permanent magnetic drum magnetic separator, PBC permanent magnetic wet plate magnetic separator, and LHC vertical ring high-gradient magnetic separator in series for iron removal) → MZK mining vibrating screen and DTS vibrating dewatering screen for screening and dewatering → BK high-pressure membrane plate-and-frame filter press for dewatering and dry discharge of tailings slurry; the rear end can be equipped with a three-pass rotary dryer for drying, and a YBF square swing screen for final classification and screening, yielding plate sand finished products in multiple specifications.
Output products: quartz sand aggregate in multiple specifications from 5–120 mesh, classified into different particle size grades of sand and quartz powder, with strictly controlled iron content, suitable for the formula grading requirements of artificial plates.
Finished product applications: artificial quartz stone plates, countertop plates, decorative plates. It is the core aggregate raw material for quartz stone plate factories and can also be used for some refractory products.
Capacity range: customizable processing capacity of 15–120 t/h; the classification section can be adjusted according to the particle size requirements of the plate factory's formula, supporting full-line EPC design, equipment manufacturing, and on-site installation and commissioning.
Product advantages: targeted multi-stage particle size classification, resulting in finished products with rich particle size distribution; multiple magnetic separation processes reduce iron impurities and minimize black spot problems in later stages of the plates; the wet process produces less dust; tailings slurry is filter-pressed and dry-discharged for convenient environmentally friendly disposal; equipment configuration can flexibly add or remove flotation sections to adapt to different raw ore grades.
