This equipment is suitable for separating fine materials with a particle size of 0.3 to 0.02 mm, including iron ore, ilmenite, chromite, quartz sand, pyrite, zircon, rutile, monazite, apatite, tungsten ore, tin ore, molybdenum ore, niobium ore, and other non-ferrous metals, rare metals, and non-metallic minerals with specific gravity differences. This equipment offers advantages such as a stable and easily controlled separation process, a wide allowable range of feed concentration, high enrichment ratio, high recovery rate, small footprint, low water consumption, simple structure, no power requirement, large processing capacity, easy installation, convenient operation, low investment, and quick returns.
Working Principle
The sand pump delivers the ore sand to the two feed inlets at the top of the spiral. Make-up water is added to adjust the slurry concentration. The slurry naturally swirls downward from high to low. In the flowing velocity of the rotating inclined surface, an inertial centrifugal force is generated. Based on differences in specific gravity, particle size, and shape of the ore sand, and through the combined action of gravity and centrifugal force in the swirling flow, the ore is separated from the sand. The concentrate flows into the concentrate hopper and is discharged through a pipe, while the tailings flow into the tailings hopper and are piped to the sand pool, then removed by the sand pump, completing the entire beneficiation process.
